Our patient-focused primary care doctor’s office specializes in family medicine. We treat what we describe as continuity care—chronic problems, things like high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression.

We offer greater access to your primary care provider through limiting the number of patients we see in our practice. Our patients benefit from same-day appointments, more face-to-face time with their physician, phone and e-mail consultations, and evening and weekend availability.

Simple Pricing

Payment arrangements between the insurance companies and doctors in traditional practices require those doctors to see more and more people in order to stay in practice. This decreases the doctors’ accessibility to their patients, and increases your wait times to see your doctor. To solve these problems, we choose to remain outside of insurance networks and Medicare, and ask our patients to have a direct financial relationship with us.

We also provide treatment for urgent care and immediate care issues such as illnesses and injuries.

Instead of hunting down my new doctor down on a holiday, I googled "urgent care Charleston" and Access Healthcare popped up. LUCKY ME! I called from my sick bed, Dr. Dave answered and he said come on over. I was there in ten minutes..... there is parking in the back of the building... a big deal in Charleston....Dr. Dave greeted me (with his adorable young daughter, dressed in Karate garb), did a quick but thorough assessment, handed me two medications and I was out of there within 20 minutes. His office is cheerful and modern, and this guy knows his stuff. I have no idea if my insurance will reimburse me... no matter... it was the best $100 I could have spent. While I didn't want to go back to the doctor while on vacation, it was a pleasure to work with Dr. Dave again. He was wonderful when my daughter had strep throat last year (opening his office on a Sunday, giving her scrubs when she got sick all over her dress, and was quick). This year I knew something was wrong, but a quick trip to see Dr. Dave and I was quickly given the meds I needed to start feeling better (shingles). My wife and I were on vacation in Charleston from NYC. I woke up Sunday morning with shortness of breathe and felt very weak. We were scheduled to fly back home the next day and I was concerned given how I was feeling. We called Access Healthcare and withiin an hour was seen by Dr Dave. I walked in the door and looked around while Stacey was attending another client. Greeted me nicely and sorted out the normal .name,address,DOB etc. Waited about 6 mins then a few normal things, blood pressure,temp, etc. another 2 minutes and Dr Dave greeted me. As being a yachtie it's hard to find a good GP on the fly.

I had a little bit of a run in with a slamming door on a Saturday morning while getting ready for work, and ended up with a gash over my eye. I wasn't sure how deep it was & figured I should have it looked at in case I needed stitches. My fiance Googled 'Urgent Care Clinic' and Access Healthcare popped up along with many great reviews! Dr. Dave answered and told us to come right in. We arrived within 10 minutes and he greeted us and took me in immediately. We were in and out in about 20 minutes, me with a few pieces of surgical tape over the cut to keep it closed. Dr. Dave was really fantastic and I highly recommend Access Healthcare!

I was under ongoing antibiotic treatment for the flu before Christmas and had a skin reaction to the medication. Dave was able to diagnose the problem, and put me on the road to clearing it up. He contacted me a couple of days later for a follow up and then checked back in via phone and txt to see how I was progressing.
